A TRUISM:
It’s true and some might find it sad. I do, sometimes. Other times, I find it to be almost exciting, knowing that there is one last adventure that I’m heading towards; an adventure that may end in oblivion, may end in peace, may end in a chaotic fury, may end in anything.
In my relatively short life, I’ve lost many loved ones. It hurts now and it will hurt forever. And I will continue to lose more, as most of us will. We try to hide this ‘truism’ from our minds but sometimes it’s good to be reminded of it. This piece is meant to show our shrouded view on the brutal realities of this world of ours. In person it may look like a black square, in the photo I made it visible for all to see. Maybe I’m defeating the purpose but what do I know.
(Try to remember this quote, if you like it:
“I do not fear death. I had been dead for billions and billions of years before I was born, and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it.”
- Mark Twain).
“NO!” “YES.”
